AiNOS Bind
Underwriting intelligence. Write it well.
Every risk decided on cited evidence, faster, with nothing bound without an underwriter.
A submission in pieces becomes one cited case, with its conflicts and gaps listed. The underwriter decides.
What is still missing before an underwriter can decide?
Bind starts with risk assessment, in Underwriting & New Business.
What the policy has to survive: sold to the right risk, on the right terms, fast enough to win it.
The work today
- A large share of underwriter time goes to administrative work: collecting documents, re-keying data, reconciling versions and chasing missing information.
- Guidelines live in manuals, so two underwriters can read the same case differently and nobody can show afterwards which rule was applied.
- Referrals and exceptions carry a note, not the evidence, so the reviewer rebuilds the case from scratch.
With Bind
- Originals are preserved as read-only evidence. Approved guidelines are a separate, read-only layer. The AI writes only into the case packet.
- Every material claim in the packet cites the document and the line it came from. What is known and what is unknown are kept apart.
- Conflicts between sources, and gaps against the guidelines, are surfaced as a list the underwriter works through rather than discovers.
- The decision, its evidence and the guideline version in force are stored together, so the case can be reconstructed years later.
What it stands on
None of this works on raw legacy tables. These are the parts of AiNOS One it draws on.
- Carrier guidelines compiled into versioned, testable rules.
- Policy, party and risk entities resolved across legacy administration systems.
- Document evidence linked to source rows, so a figure in the packet traces to its page.
How it deepens
Prepare
The AI builds the cited case packet and lists the gaps. Every case is decided by an underwriter.
Govern
Straightforward cases flow through on approved rules with an audit trail. Underwriters work the exceptions, and rule changes are tested against history before release.
Connect
Claims experience and conduct findings feed back into guidelines, so risk selection learns from what the rest of the company sees.
Where it grows next
What Bind learns is handed to the other two, and the rest of underwriting & new business is built on the same cases.
- To AiNOS Keep
- A policy written on a weak case lapses early. Keep sees it in the book and names the cause.
- To AiNOS Guard
- A disclosure gap found at underwriting becomes a Guard case when it points to how the sale was made.
The rest of underwriting & new business
Owned by underwriting, new business operations, medical and financial underwriting.
| Workflow | Today | AI-native |
|---|---|---|
| Submission intake | Applications, broker submissions and medical records arrive in mixed formats and are read and re-keyed by hand. | Every document is read and structured on arrival, with the missing facts listed before an underwriter opens the case. |
| Disclosure verification | Declared facts are taken at face value unless something looks wrong. | Declared facts are checked against available records, and discrepancies are shown with their source. |
| Referral and exception | Cases are referred up or to reinsurers with a note, and the reason is reconstructed later if asked. | Each referral carries the rule that triggered it and the evidence behind it, so the reviewer starts from the decision point. |
| Issuance QA | Contract wording and endorsements are checked by sampling after issue. | Every contract is checked against the approved terms and the underwriting decision before it is issued. |
| Guideline management | Rulebooks live in documents, are updated by committee and are applied differently by different underwriters. | Guidelines are versioned, testable logic. A change is tested against past cases before it is approved. |
