On the policy

AiNOS Guard

Compliance intelligence. Keep it lawful.

Every contract reviewed against the rule in force when it was sold. Not a sample.

Each suspected issue is linked to its evidence, the legal source and the facts still missing. A reviewer decides, then extends the search.

Which contracts need a reviewer's attention today, and why?

Guard starts with sales conduct surveillance, in Risk, Compliance & Governance.

What the policy has to survive: sold and serviced within rules that keep changing, and ready for the examiner on any day.

The work today

  • Review is by sample. Most contracts are never looked at, and a pattern across one agent's book goes unnoticed until a complaint or an examination.
  • The rule that applied at the time of sale is different from the rule today. Judging an old contract by current rules fails in front of a regulator.
  • A flag is not a case. Without ownership, history and disposition, an alert is an email that gets lost.

With Guard

  • Sales records, policy history and disclosure evidence are connected to the applicable rules, so the review starts from a case with its context.
  • Each suspected issue links to supporting evidence, contrary evidence, the legal source and the facts still missing. Nothing is a finding of guilt; everything is a review priority.
  • Cases have stable identity, an append-only history, an assignee and a human disposition, so the record survives the people who worked it.
  • Once a pattern is confirmed, the reviewer scopes the search across related contracts, products and channels to find the same issue elsewhere.

What it stands on

None of this works on raw legacy tables. These are the parts of AiNOS One it draws on.

  • A versioned corpus of law and internal rules, resolvable to any past date.
  • Contracts, agents and customers resolved across sales, administration and complaint systems.
  • Every flag tied to the data row and the clause that produced it, so the explanation is reproducible.

How it deepens

  1. Prepare

The AI prepares the evidence-linked review brief. Every case is closed or escalated by a reviewer.

  2. Govern

The full population is reviewed continuously, with cases, ownership and disposition recorded. Reviewers own the rules and the exceptions.

  3. Connect

Conduct findings change channel scoring, commission design and product review, and claims and persistency patterns feed back into what surveillance looks for.

Where it grows next

What Guard learns is handed to the other two, and the rest of risk, compliance & governance is built on the same cases.

To AiNOS Bind
A confirmed pattern changes what Bind flags before the next policy is written.
To AiNOS Keep
A conduct finding on one agent re-ranks every retention call in that agent's book.

The rest of risk, compliance & governance

Owned by chief risk officer, chief compliance officer, legal, internal audit.

WorkflowTodayAI-native
Regulatory changeLaw and regulation changes are tracked in circulars and mapped to internal rules by hand.Every version of every applicable law is kept, and a change is mapped to the internal rules and workflows it affects.
Internal rules and accountability mapCompany rules drift from the law, and executive accountability maps are documents rather than something checked.Internal rules are compiled against the law they implement, and each executive's duties are tracked against the controls that evidence them.
Advertising and material pre-reviewSales materials queue for a compliance reviewer and are checked against a checklist.Materials are checked against the disclosure rules with each issue tied to the rule, and the reviewer decides.
Financial crimeAnti-money-laundering and sanctions alerts are high volume and low precision, and cases are built by hand.Alerts arrive as cases with the linked evidence, and the analyst disposes of them with a recorded reason.
Complaints and consumer protectionComplaints are resolved one at a time and root causes are analysed quarterly, if at all.Root causes are found across complaints as they arrive, and linked to the product, agent or process behind them.
Enterprise and model riskRisk registers and model inventories are maintained in spreadsheets and reviewed on a cycle.Operational and model risks are monitored from the systems that produce them, and the register updates from evidence.
Examination and reportingA regulator's request triggers weeks of evidence gathering across departments. The evidence packet for a request is assembled from the record, with each item traceable to its source and the rule it answers.
Internal auditAudit tests a sample and extrapolates.Audit tests the whole population continuously and spends its time on what the tests surface.
Third-party oversightOutsourcing and agency partners are assessed annually by questionnaire.Partner risk is assessed from their actual conduct, persistency and complaint record, continuously.
